Here we go! Leaving San Francisco

Gas House Cove, SF. Sail Date: January 17, 2014

What an incredible 24 hours…We woke up Thursday morning and decided to run with the weather and finally GO! Thank you Dori and Sean for untying the lines and getting us on our way to SF Thursday night! 

Sue and Andy met us on the boat at 7am with a Champaign toast and homemade Zucchini bread! We left at 8:30 and made it under the bridge before 9am. We could see them hanging over the GG taking pictures – it was the best send off ever!! Thanks Andy and Sue for taking the time to document our going out the Gate! Otherwise I don’t think anyone would believe it.
