Avalon in the Winter

I recommend Avalon in the winter. It feels as if you have the bay and the town almost to yourself. I think even the locals are more willing to say hello. It was a lovely time on an Island full of history, interesting architecture, crystal clear water, beautiful hikes and plenty of places to get much needed refreshments.
